The Coen brothers may have gone all heavy with their dark Oscar-winning drama, "No Country for Old Men," but don't forget that this duo has a sense of humor, too. As a fellow Go to It blogger mentioned earlier, Kings is holding a special "Big Lebowski"-themed party at 9 p.m. on Thursday to celebrate the cult classic's 10th anniversary. With free bowling and billiards, a DJ, and a contest for the best costume, this should be one night that any Dude would fully appreciate.

  1. For years my friends always randomly broke out a "Shut the f@#$ up Donny, you're outta your element" and I'd get mad because I had no idea what they were talking about. Then I saw the movie, and laughed for a week.

  1. The world would be a much better place if we all got in touch with our inner Dudeness.

Such hapless laid back tolerance seems so far away from the fuel cruch/credit cruch Neo-con America of today.

He is a wonderful example that we all should occaisonally sit back and inhale it all.

    Remember, the Dude abides.
