Cover me
This Bruce Springsteen cover band — called Bruce in the USA — raises a couple of essential questions. Like, are impersonators really at liberty to ask for riders? And, why would these guys book shows in Boston when Bruce himself is gearing up for a tour with two dates at the TD Banknorth Garden?
But let's be honest. It's like the E Street Band Recession Special, with ticket prices at a fraction of the cost you'd pay for the real deal. Also, I couldn't see well enough without glasses to distinguish Matt Ryan from the Boss if I were 10 feet from the stage.

And, as you might have guessed, I would totally do this if I were better at electric guitar.
Bruce in the USA has the rock-and-roll stamp of approval from the likes of Entertainment Weekly and even some folks in the Springsteen camp. If you haven't nailed down tickets for Bruce on April 21 or 22, check these guys out at the Paradise tomorrow night. Doors at 7 p.m.
