Every neighborhood has it’s cultural identity, and Jamaica Plain is no different. Believe it or not, there’s more to JP than hipsters and the Milky Way Lounge. (No, really.)

Eleven local artists are showing work in the “JP to Me" exhibit. Themes of the work vary from architecture to nature to abstract shapes and street scenes and capture the different faces of the neighborhood.

The contributing artists are: Robert Festa, Kristin Mallery, Edward Gault, Amy Hitchcock, Kate Moss, Keith Supko, Matt McKee, Ted Cormier, Erik Gehring, Lucie Wicker, and Bill Shamlian.

Check out the show at The Footlight Club form 6-8 p.m. on Feb. 13-14.
