Freaks flock together
First things first: I love Beck. I love his freak-out album "Midnite Vultures." "Mixed Bizness"? "Debra"? So good.
I can't wait to see what local burlesque troupes Bitches of Destiny and Black Cat Burlesque do with the crazy material at Midnite Vultures: A Long-Play Cabaret of the Beck Album at Club Oberon on March 7.
Organizers promise "high-femme gender performance, girl-on-girl food wrestling, go-go dancing, $20 million fantasies, nicotine-laced housewives, the most bizarre version of Family Feud you've ever experienced, and more balloons than you can shake a stick at."
Sounds perfectly twisted.
