Beer & Bourbon Dinner Series: Just because the summer barbecue season is over doesn't mean you have to lay your burger appetite to rest. Five Napkin Burger is expanding their Beer & Bourbon dinner series — originally held in their Astoria location in New York — to Boston. Incorporating beers from New Hampshire's Smuttynose Brewing Company for the first dinner (Nov. 3) and Cape Ann Brewing Company in Gloucester for the second (Nov. 17), Five Napkin Burger Chef Andy D'Amico will create a special menu catering to the flavor of the beers for each dinner. The Smuttynose dinner's menu includes several items not offered on the restaurant's normal menu, including grilled lamb kofta skewers, tuna taquitos, and smores pie for dessert. The $35 price tag includes beer and food. If you can't get enough burgers and beer, you can attend both events for $65.
Nov. 3 and 17, 6:30 p.m. Five Napkin Burger, 105 Huntington Avenue, Boston. 617-375-2277 Tickets are available online.
