Summer in the city means movies under the stars with the family. The 27th Annual Free Friday Flicks movie series presents family-oriented feature films all season long. The shows start at sundown, but make sure to arrive early with blankets, lawn chairs, and a picnic to get a viewing spot on the lawn. Enjoy food samples, games, and other activities in addition to the film.

Activities from 6 p.m. at the DCR Hatch Memorial Shell, Boston. Series is presented by WBZ NewsRadio 1030 and the Department of Conservation and Recreation. In case of inclement weather, call the hotline for cancellation information at 617-787-7200.
