A Photographer's Journey, Feb. 5
It's February, and an exotic, faraway place would be good right now. If that's not in the cards for you, at least enjoy some vicarious pleasure at "A Photographer's Journey: A discovery of details from takeoff to turndown." The exhibit of pictures by Jimmy Cohrssen is a project of Le Méridien and Air France. Travel fans curated the show by voting on Facebook for their favorite images. Scenes of Shanghai, Bora Bora, and other international locales are included. Says Cohrssen of the journey, "Words can't really capture the awe, inspiration, aromas, tastes and smooth cotton sheets of the whole experience." Maybe the pictures will. The show is touring Le Méridien locations nationally and stops this week in Cambridge. Feb. 5, 5-7 p.m. Le Méridien, 20 Sidney St., Cambridge. www.aphotographersjourney.com
