Missed the international Comic Con in San Diego last week? Catch Boston's own version this weekend.

Boston Comic Con, originally scheduled for April but moved due to the Boston Marathon bombings, will begin on Saturday, Aug. 3 at the Seaport World Trade Center. Events will include a costume contest, film festivals, trivia, panels, and more.

Guest panelists include Laurie Holden of "The Walking Dead," Kristen Bauer of "True Blood," and some stars from "The Hobbit."
