A chocolate extravaganza at the Boston Harbor Hotel, Feb. 22

If you’re looking for something sweet to do this weekend, consider heading to the Boston Harbor Hotel for their first-ever “Above & Below Chocolate Party” on Feb. 22. This decadent event begins in the hotel’s Rotunda Room overlooking the ice skating rink, where chocolate-lovers will sample various treats crafted by pastry chef Shawn Dresser and chef Daniel Bruce, including warm chocolate chunk croissant pudding, milk chocolate peanut butter torte with candied bacon, whiskey chocolate cake with Cracker Jack Daniels, and more. The chocolate menu will also include gluten-free options.

The Boston Harbor Hotel will host its first-ever "Above & Beyond Chocolate Party" on Feb. 22 (Michele McDonald for the Boston Globe).

Once you’re done munching on your chocolaty treats, you can head down to the Boston Harbor Hotel rink to take to the ice and show off your ice skating skills. The “Above & Below Chocolate Party” is part of the hotel’s Winter on the Wharf festivities.

Your ticket includes the chocolate party, admission to ice skating rink, and skate rental. A cash bar with specialty chocolate-inspired beverages, featuring the Peppermint Patty (Kahlua, White Creme de Menthe, Mozart Chocolate Cream Liqueur, hot chocolate, and coffee) and the Chocolate Covered Raspberry (Mozart Chocolate Liquor, Monin Raspberry, Chambord, and hot chocolate), will also be available.
