Skaters and fans gathered at Wilmington's Shriners Auditorium on Sept. 19 for a Boston Derby Dames Double Header, a night packed with two bouts of roller derby action. First, home team Boston Massacre routed the Pikes Peak Derby Dames of Colorado Springs, 298-22. Later, during the home team playoffs, the Cosmonaughties narrowly prevailed over the Wicked Pissahs with an end score of 121-102. It was a raucous night of jamming and blocking, with two hard-fought games.
