The Boston Center for Adult Education is running a great promotion from now until Thursday at 5 PM - 20 of their food and wine classes in the month of December are buy one get one free!

Essentially, you can take two classes (or you and a friend can take the same class!) for half price! Pretty sweet, if you ask me.

Pick from all sorts of offerings - wine & chocolate pairing, brunch favorites, pizza & calzones, thai noodles and how to make the perfect cupcake. Note that even though the price of the class is half off, each individual must still pay for class materials, which range from $20 - $40 depending on the course. The price adds up a bit, but it's definitely a great promotion, and may even make a great (early!) holiday present for a friend or parent who loves to cook.

Here is a full list of all the classes being offered:

To RSVP for the half price classes, call the Student Services department at (617) 267-4430 -- unfortunately, this promotion cannot be redeemed online.

If your bank account still can't afford half price classes, consider this even better deal: in January the BCAE is offering Take for $12 classes - a slight spin on their Take for $10 classes offered earlier in the year (one of which I took & blogged about - we learned to poach eggs!) A friend & I are registered for the one pot cooking class on Thursday, Jan. 6th - I can't wait!

Be sure to check out the full list of all the $12 classes and RSVP as soon as you can - spots fill up quickly!
