The Independent

This dimly lit, homey pub is a little off the beaten track (read: off the T, gasp!), but the bike or cab ride is worth it. There's usually Delerium Tremens on tap, an ever-changing oyster selection, and a delicious wild mushroom dip at this neighborhood find. It's a great place to watch the game or hear a DJ spin tunes while toasting rare brews. (We're not biased because we live right up the street or anything.)
