Age: Flavorheard is comprised of two friends, DJ Amphibious (24) and DJ Bogart (26)

What you'll hear: A mix of reggae and classic hip-hop

Where they spin: Prelude on the fourth Thursday of every month at Good Life; Clap Ya Hands, on the third Saturday of every month at the Enormous Room; Solid!, two Fridays a month at ZuZu ; and Flavorheard, the last Friday of every month at Middlesex Lounge.

Mixing it up "We never make lists and say, 'OK, this is what we're going to play in this order... we're not always the most organized, but we're always the most excited to play the stuff we've found," DJ Bogart says.

Songs you probably won't hear: "Gimme More," Britney Spears, "Love in This Club," Usher ("I refuse to play it," DJ Amphibious says.)

Team effort: "Its a pretty rare dynamic where we've DJ'd together so many times that there's no verbal communication... It's just gotten to the point where it takes care of itself," DJ Amphibious says.
