Rosemary's Baby
$9, Savant Project
1625 Tremont St., Boston

In the mix:
½ oz. berry purée
1½ oz. Three Olives Orange vodka
½ Mathilde pear liqueur
Splash of pineapple juice
Shake and drop rosemary tincture on top.

"You smell rosemary, but you taste berries," assistant general manager Bobby Seaman said about the concoction. "It's a boozy smoothie."

Bottom line: A tincture is an alcoholic extract. (I'm sure you knew that already.) This flavor mix kicks a fruity drink up a notch.
