Celluloid dreams: Hollywood Boulevard Bash
If you've always wanted to win an Oscar, this is your chance. OK, so they aren't actual statues, per se, but Rock Revolution Bar will hand out "Oscars" in the the following categories on New Year's Eve: Socialite of the Night, Smooth Operator, Most Likely to Succeed in 2010, and more. You'll enter the party on a red carpet and paparazzi will be on hand to snap candids as you dance to the sounds of renowned Hollywood DJ Rick Rude (We suggest you handle your 15 minutes of fame a little more gracefully than, say, Britney Spears). Get there early for appetizers (9-10 p.m.) and sip bubbly come midnight.
