RSS (short for 'Real Simple Syndication') is a feed that lets you read Boston Globe and Boston.com headlines in your web browser, on your personal home page, or using a special program called a news aggregator.
How to subscribe: Simply look for the orange XML graphic on these pages and elsewhere on the site. Click on it and then follow the directions to subscribe in your browser. If you use separate news-reading software, mr mouse over the image, right-click, and copy the URL. (Choose "Copy Shortcut" for Internet Explorer or "Copy Link Location" for Firefox). In your news reader, select the option that adds a new feed or channel, then paste in the URL and click OK.
If you use My Yahoo!, look for Add-to-My-Yahoo! buttons , and click to instantly add content to your page. Do the same with these buttons if you have a personalized iGoogle homepage.
