How to get there

About a four-hour drive from Montreal. Go north on Autoroute 15 until it becomes Route 117. At Lac-des-Ecorces, turn right on Route 311, continuing through the villages of Chute-Saint-Philippe and Val-Viger toward the town of Lac-Saint-Paul. Follow signs down a paved private road to La Bourgade on the shores of Lac-Marie-Louise.

Tepee rental about $48 per night for two (children free if you bring their sleeping bags). Winter tepee rental about $26 per person, minimum of two people. Rentals include bed, canoe, wood, water, ice, and kitchen utensils. Two-hour exclusive use of Les Bains du Lac-Marie-Louise about $18.50 per person for up to three people; about $14.80 per person for four or more; discount of $3.70 if staying in La Bourgade.
