The Inn at Weston
Route 100
Weston, Vt.

What we liked most: The mingling of relaxation and romance.
What we liked least: We didn't get to meet Linda, who was away that weekend.
What surprised us: The in-house wedding officiant.
You
know you're at the Inn at Weston when . . . Blooming orchids complement the decor.
Rates: The inn has five rooms in the main building and two in the carriage house with whirlpool tubs, sauna showers, featherbeds, and electronic equipment. All but the Orton Room have gas fireplaces. The Coleman House, an 1839 farmhouse across the street, has an additional six modest rooms (three with gas fireplaces), with a shared common room with TV and wood-burning fireplace. Doubles $165-$315, plus 9 percent Vermont lodging tax. We booked a two-night package in the Coleman House with two breakfasts and one dinner for $550, including tax. We were upgraded to the Bolster Room, where the same package is available for $700. The dining room is open nightly. Entrees $27-$32.
Directions: The inn is about 170 miles from Boston. Take Route 2 west to Interstate 91 north to exit 6 in Vermont (Rockingham). Turn left off the ramp. Follow Route 5 about a mile to Route 103 north to Chester, where it joins Route 11. Follow Route 11 west to Londonderry (approximately 20 minutes), and there take a right at the blinking light onto Route 100 north. The Inn at Weston is approximately 6 miles on the left.
