Olana's grounds and visitors center are open, but house tours are not available until next year. For the exact date, call or check the website next spring. Grounds open daily 8 a.m. to sunset. Guided Cultural Landscape Tours (through the end of October) Tuesday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., $3 per person, free under age 12.
Paintings from Olana ``Treasures From Olana: Landscapes by Frederic Edwin Church," a traveling exhibition of 18 paintings including several views of or from Olana, can be seen at these venues through next June: Portland Museum of Art, Portland, Maine, through Sept. 10; The Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens, San Marino, Calif., Oct. 14-Jan. 3, 2007; Princeton University Art Museum, Princeton, N.J., Jan. 27-June 10, 2007.
