Taylor Mill Island Pond Road
Ballard State Forest, Derry, N.H.
Taylor Mill is open for sawing demonstrations during the spring and summer, typically the second and fourth Saturdays of the month from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Directions: About 42 miles , or less than an hour from Boston. Take Interstate 93 north to New Hampshire exit 4 east to Route 102, to Route 28 bypass south. At second set of lights, turn left onto Island Pond Road. The mill is 3.7 miles on the left.
