To the Editor: We thoroughly enjoyed “Just Outside San Francisco, a Wild Coastline” (Oct. 4), particularly since it prompted fond memories of our drive along that stretch last May. We have a suggestion for an alternate route for part of that journey: take Stage Road from the main street in Pescadero to the crossroads of San Gregorio.
It is just inland from the coast road, and offers beautiful, elevated views of the hills and west to the coast.
