To the Editor: “36 Hours: Richmond” (Oct. 18) labeled the Virginia capital “fried okra country” in citing a dearth of ethnic food. As a Richmond resident, I beg to differ. We have a rich variety of ethnic restaurants. Large Greek and Lebanese populations bring bakeries, falafel stands and kebab shops. Ethiopian, Vietnamese and Dominican restaurants abound.
