8 Courses of Delicious
While there are days when I despise how our society evolves around food, there are usually more days when I embrace it and rock it to sleep. Wednesday, March 19 is one day where food will get a lullaby from me.
The Pearl Restaurant & Oyster Bar in Peterborough, N.H., along with Slow Food Monadnock, presents an 8 course Tasting dinner featuring Gulf of Maine Shrimp, Nantucket Bay Scallops, Cape May Salt Oysters and American Raised Bison from Warner, NH. Wipe the drool and continue to think of Pixie Tangerines, Meyer Lemons and Wattle Hog!
The evening costs $55 per person which includes tip. Pearl House wines will accompany the courses, offered as half glass tasting pours for $3 each [c'mon, $55 cannot include wine too]. For reservations call Pearl Restaurant at 603-924-5225 or visit www.slowfoodusa.org.
