Maybe Spring is Coming

Posted by Kimberly Sherman March 6, 2008 09:29 AM

Even if I am still looking out at 4 foot snowbanks, I can still dream about my crocus poking through the soil and my daffodils spraying my beds with sun yellow. And the 2008 New England Spring Flower Show, set for March 8-16 at the Bayside Expo Center in Boston, is going to allow me to realize those dreams even sooner. Most exciting for this year's show, is like everything else, it's going green. While that may seem redundant, you understand I mean green as in earth friendly, eco-loving and sustainable gardens. Rhapsody in Green is the show's 137th attempt to provide over 100,000 winter weary visitors a glimpse of things to come. New England's most talented gardeners and designers storm upon the Expo Center, empty their trucks and create stunning exhibits and arrangements, offering up competitions and entertainment, and above all, offer priceless information sharing on tips and tricks of having a green thumb.

Tickets range in price from $10-$42, or you can choose some greater membership opportunities for an increased ticket price. With such a jammed packed itinerary, make sure you decide on what you can't miss and mark your calendars accordingly.
