Any reason to go to Jamestown, R.I., is a good one. Visit this charming coastal village for the J.C.C. Goes to the Movies performance this weekend, May 2 at 7:30 p.m. and May 4, at 3 p.m. The popular Jamestown Community Chorus is in its 59th year as an institution and takes on songs for this event from our favorite movies, including "Chariots of Fire", "Cold Mountain" and "Sister Act". The J.C.C. performs at the Central Baptist Church, call 401-423-1574 for more information.
