A Weekend of Chocolate

While this time of year screams of flowers and farms and all things warm and fuzzy, Vermont is offering something a bit different with a fantastic Chocolate Show this May 17 and 18 at the Inn at Essex - a place worth visiting, chocolate or not. Chocolatiers, chefs, and vendors from the entire Northeast gather to talk, make and share their chocolate creations and knowledge. Educational programs for the expert palate, and exhibits for the fine-with-even-a-Hershey's taste buds, there is something for chocolate lovers of all kinds. The usual product sales, culinary activities and demonstrations abound, but there will also be chocolate spa treatments. Just when I thought eating it was enough pleasure, they go and do this to me. Spring is a great time to visit Vermont, and now the Chocolate Show makes it the perfect time. Just $10 for a slice a heaven. Call the Inn at Essex for more information at 802-244-8354.
