Rockland Rocks the Arts

Posted by Kimberly Sherman May 21, 2008 09:47 AM

This Friday May 23, marks the opening night reception for Arts in Rockland (AIR) for the 2008 season. AIR was established to put the town of Rockland on the map for a destination for all things art. Currently there are 22 members who open their doors for Art Walks every Wednesday throughout the spring and summer, offering original works by both established and emerging artists. Opening night receptions like this Friday from 5-8 p.m. offer you the chance to meet the artists and celebrate a new year of creating. Look for blue and black banners as you walk the streets of Rockland, and be sure not to miss a single member.
