Spring on the Farm

Posted by Kimberly Sherman May 16, 2008 09:16 AM

You don't exactly think sheep, when you mention Stamford, Conn. However, Stamford's going to turn the tables on May 18 when they host their annual spring festival at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center. Along with meeting the new babes from the Heckscher Farm, you can learn to sheer a sheep, buy this year's perennials and cart your kids around from activity to activity. Storytelling, hay rides, food and refreshments litter the farm for the day. The festival runs from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. rain or shine on all the Museum's grounds. Admission is $10 for non-members, parking is on site. Call 203-322-1636 for more information.
