Welcome to the USA

Posted by Patricia Harris May 23, 2008 10:45 AM

The J.D Power & Associates ranking may show that Logan has slipped to 16th place in customer satisfaction, and we certainly have our quibbles with the East Boston institution. But when we came in from Rome at Terminal 5 on Tuesday (and even bigger jetliners from Madrid and Paris landed at the same time), we got a friendly jolt at passport control. Staff were separating the sheep and goats, herding US passport holders into the red line, all others into the blue. And every time the agent directed non-residents into their line, he added, “Welcome!” It felt good to be home.
