Bed, Breakfast, Tea and Tours

Ooh, is Bar Harbor, Maine gorgeous right now. It's where spring seems to exist for half the year, with warm, salty sea breezes, and a horizon that drifts off into the Atlantic forever. This weekend, June 6-8, the Bar Harbor Bed & Breakfast Association hosts its annual Spring Bed & Breakfast Inn Tea and Tour weekend.

The Bar Harbor Tea Company is partnering with the BBA this year to provide samples of their unique tea blends, to visitors while they tour the town's fabulously decked out Inns. Owners will be on hand for an afternoon tea, chatting up their passion for Innkeeping. You can even chat with Mount Desert store owners [I bet Martha knows them!], James and Stacy, sip tea and talk Maine history.

All proceeds from the Tour and Tea are being donated to the Criterion Theatre and Arts Center Restoration Project. This magnificent Art Deco Theater will also be featured as a tour location. Tour Tickets are $15 per adult which includes refreshments, entry to numerous unique Inns, Criterion Theatre tour and a souvenir tour pamphlet including Inn information, map and directions. Contact Jane Holland at 207-288-9655 for more information.
