Victorian Days Remembered

Posted by Kimberly Sherman June 4, 2008 08:32 AM

house.jpg Ah, the Victorian age. Go back in time with guided tours through decadent homes, gardens, churches, Willimantic, Conn.'s historic Town Hall and Windham Mills.

Victorian Days in Willimantic hosts events scattered throughout the weekend, and at various town locations like the Railroad Museum, Jillson House and Textile Museum. If you like vintage, Willimantic is the place to be this weekend, June 5-8, as displays of vintage cars, agricultural machines, and fire trucks fill the scene. To complement the vintage candy, are live music, tea sittings, and an art exposition. Call 860-456-4476 for more information.
