Jazzin' up Hartford on a tank or less!

Posted by Kimberly Sherman July 17, 2008 09:24 AM

We spontaneously went to Maine over the weekend. We paid $4.39 a gallon to fill up for the trek home. It hit me that spontaneity is a thing of the past.

In planning your upcoming weekend, take note that Hartford, Conn., may be an hour's drive, yet you won't pay a thing to attend the 17th Annual Greater Hartford Festival of Jazz. This festival is the largest FREE jazz fest in New England. On July 18, 19 and 20, historic Bushnell Park buzzes with over 25 hours of performances, plus food, crafts and activities. All this on a tank or less. Here's where planning pays off!
