longhaulsign.jpg I keep reading the press release over and over again. Is it talking about me, and my favorite things to do on the weekend? Verbatim, "Every Friday night in July and August, food served from 5:30-8 p.m. and fun served till the fire burns down." Could this possibly mean what it means?! Well worth the effort, this Friday August 1 you can drive up to Longhaul Farm in Holderness, N.H. for bbq, bonfires, music and company of those loving the same simple pleasures.

Visualize...succulent meats, organic veggies, sides of baked beans, potato salads, off-key sing-a-longs, corkage-free BYOB and drippy, sticky s'mores for all. Dining is rain or shine, indoors at the newly renovated pavillion or outdoors a la rustic setting. Musical instruments of any kind are encouraged, as are your smiles and good cheer. Menu items are priced a la carte, and the memories are absolutely priceless. Can this really be? I am planning on bringing the kids if so. Because, dear readers, this is what it's all about.
