The Clone Wars Benefit

Posted by Kimberly Sherman August 12, 2008 08:06 AM

Currently, I can't vacuum my living room, the downstairs, or a couple of bedrooms. The Clone Wars have come to my house. My boys have built their own interpretations of what's to come using Legos, K'Nex and even some old hose parts from daddy. This Friday, Aug. 15 has been a much anticipated night for all those "Star Wars" junkies as the newest tale is released in The Clone Wars. The Millworks Cafe at Cocheco Mills in Dover, N.H. had the foresight to make this night into a cause for charity as well.

The New Hampshire Mandalorians [a formal fan group for all things Star Wars in N.H.] proudly present the “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” Dinner & Movie Night. All earnings from this night will benefit the New Hampshire chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Tickets include a full buffet dinner, live entertainment by acoustic artist Matt Marcil, door prizes, raffles, and silent auction for Star Wars collectibles, photo opportunities with costumed characters, kids activities, and a ticket to the Regal Cinema in Newington to see “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” after dinner events conclude. Tickets cost $25 and just $15 for children 6 & under.

Tickets are available from The Millworks Café/Lemontree Catering in Dover, NH & Jetpack Comics in Rochester, N.H. Call Thomas Travis at 603-866-6466 or email. Jedis, Clones and helping sick children get their wishes....oh yeah, the Force is a beautiful thing.
