Pix163.jpg Watch out for the Boston ähts [that would mean arts to those of you not understanding the Boston accent] Festival taking place this weekend, Sept. 12-14 at the Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park. It's the 6th year of the Festival, and for three days, the Park will transform into an artists village, complete with juried artists, and two stages of live entertainment.

Over 60 juried visual artists will display their work and sell original pieces. And two stages will offer up entertainment such as the Blue Man Group, Boston Ballet, and Buffalo Tom. It doesn't get any more diverse than that, but that is indeed the point...to celebrate the Boston ähts! Families are encouraged to come as there are many activities the Mayor's Mural Crew and Boston Children's Museum have planned for young ones.

Where else can you experience steel drums, opera singing, poet readings, puppet theater, and salsa dance troupes in one place. Here at the Boston ähts Festival!
