Tina's dream
I met my match when I met Tina. She holds the title of Yard Sale Queen (an honor I thought I owned). This weekend Plymouth, N.H., holds its 12th annual town-wide yard sale, which I am telling you, is Tina's dream. And in this case, a wonderful way to raise funds for those in need.
The Plymouth Area Community Closet, a volunteer, nonprofit group that serves 15 surrounding communities, sells maps for $2 which highlight the locations of the participating 100 yard sales in town. Visitors can purchase maps from PACC, which provides emergency funds, food, clothing, and Christmas Food Baskets for those in need, on the days of the event, Sat., Sept. 6 and Sun., Sept. 7, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. rain or shine.
Please call 603-536-1001 for more information. This is a unique way to give to the community while also finding varied treasures for yourself, family, and friends.
