Wood you consider this?

Posted by Kimberly Sherman September 24, 2008 10:43 AM

rockledge_booth.jpg I have a love of wood, and if time was not such large part of working with the medium I might just be a furniture builder. If you've never been to a woodworking show before, and have a love for knots, veins, and grain... get on over to Woodstock this weekend for the Vermont Fine Furniture & Woodworking Festival Sept. 27-28.
Vermont woodworkers descend upon Woodstock to share their passion with visitors. Guests can mingle and meander through displays and demos, and chat with artists on site. They'll be carving, turning, and crafting many wares through the 2 days, with items available for purchase. Amongst this sea of wood will be live music, food vendors, and forest tours to educate just how one manages to get that tree to become a table.
