Celebrate the words all over town

Posted by Kimberly Sherman October 1, 2008 09:44 AM

For three days, various locations scattered throughout Brattleboro, Vt., erect special displays, unfold extra chairs, and serve their best coffee for all those participating in the 7th Annual Brattleboro Literary Festival held on Oct. 3-5. With featured readings by tens of authors, panel discussions and special events showcasing emerging and established writers, including former US Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky, National Book Award winner M.T. Anderson, and NPR book commentator Alan Cheuse, this book celebration is not to be missed.
All events are free, which make this the perfect venue for bringing the family and introducing great literary figures to the kiddos. In fact there are many events specially designed for kids and young adults.
