Vermont cheese, beer, sausage, and oh yeah, art!

OK so sometimes the foodie in me takes over and there is no return until I am fed. The 16th Annual Hildene Art & Craft Festival features 200 artisan booths in heated Camelot tents showcasing their talents, and offering visitors a one of a kind shopping experience. While Hildene's scenic meadow is full of unique and inspiring art, it will also be home to the Vermont cheese, beer, and sausage tent. Don't let the lack of creative title fool you, this is no standard fair food, this is Vermont food. This tent offers a festival within a festival so to speak, with more than a dozen microbrews, and several state-made cheeses and sausages. Also, pairings with a variety of wines will be available if hops and barley aren't your thang. While you browse and eat, there will be live entertainment around every bend.

The Hildene Fall Art & Craft Festival will run from Oct. 3-5 in fall foliage-packed Manchester, Vt. Check online for more information. Admission: $8 adults, $2 youth ages 13-17, FREE Children 12 and under, $5 students with ID.
