I feel like every entry I write this week begins and ends with my birthday blast last weekend. Here's another that caught my eye - a Chocolate and Wine Love Affair! I had enough wine and chocolate last weekend at the Mount Washington Hotel to hold me till I turn another year older in '09, so these events are for you - not me!

Connecticut's Haight-Brown Vineyards hosts Chocolate Decadence Nov. 15 and 16. Any two day affair with chocolate and wine is well worth asking the in-laws to babysit and you and hubby take off to learn and experience some mouth-watering combinations. Reservations are required so plan today. Learn how to pair chocolate with wine before the holidays hit, and dazzle your guests with palate pleasing knowledge. Only $15 a person. For more information call 860-567-4045.
