Manchester, Vermont lights up
My friend Linda is leaving for Florida today...for Thanksgiving. So we went over to watch some Patriots yesterday and I walked into a winter wonderland. "Why are you totally decorated for Christmas before Thanksgiving," I screamed? "Well, when we get back it'll be Dec. 2," she calmly said.
Ah. I didn't look beyond my turkey. It's December next week. So no wonder why everyone's lighting up the town center trees! Manchester, Vt. is trying to beat the crowd by lighting up Friday, Nov. 28 at 5 p.m. Special Black Friday shopping bargains abound at the Manchester Designer Outlets, and the tree lighting is followed by a visit from the one and only at 6 p.m. So bring the kids, take the token Santa photo, ogle the tree and get your shopping done, all before December hits!
