Shop, save and explore at Montshire

Posted by Kimberly Sherman November 20, 2008 08:48 AM

bub.jpg The Montshire Museum in Norwich, Vt., claims their sale this weekend could possibly eliminate the further need for holiday shopping. Bold statement, which makes it worth a look-see.

Their special holiday shopping event: Shop, Save, Explore, on Friday night, Nov. 21 from 5-8 p.m., features a 10 percent savings on all purchases [Member's receive 25% off!], as well as, free admission to the Museum galleries, as Montshire hopes its visitors will be enticed to shop their store. Books, toys and a vast selection for science and nature-related gifts abound. Do the kids really need another Polly Pocket or Bakugan? Exactly.

The event also features free refreshments, gift wrapping and an appearance by popular children's book author, Mary Lyn Ray, who will autograph copies of her latest book, Christmas Farm. Call 802-649-2200 for more information.
