Your cell phone can browse the web, get you caught up on e-mail, or even turn into lightsaber (iPhone geeks only), but now it can also net you free skiing.

For the second year in a row, Stratton Mountain is giving away lift tickets to its Vermont resort, a total of 10,000. Simply provide the number to your mobile phone, fill in the remaining fields, and within seconds you’ll receive a text message alerting you whether or not you won.

Unlike last year’s contest, winners won’t have to print out a coupon to redeem at the ticket window. Simply bring your winning text message to the resort, and you’re on your way.

No luck? Try again in 24 hours. There’s no limit to the amount you can try, but only one prize will be awarded per person. A limited amount of blackout dates apply.
