The next trendy animal

al.jpg My husband's got a thing for alpacas. Swears they're the next big thing. Loves to imagine us all on a farm with alpacas all around. Ah...no. But I will be more than willing to accompany him to others who raise the strange Peruvian mammals that need no fence to stay put. We will be in Vermont this weekend, so the Maple View Farm Alpacas Holiday Open House is on the agenda for sure.

Come learn about these intelligent and curious creatures, raised for breeding and their natural, hypo-allergenic fiber which is stronger, softer and warmer than wool. Fiber products will be on display and for sale at the farm store. Positively something for someone on your holiday shopping list. Open House takes place Nov. 29-30 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
