mezze.jpgHow can you read pass an event titled, "Carhartts + Cocktails brings Farmers to Table." Honey, are you reading? Can we go? On March 1, Massachusetts towns of Williamstown and Great Barrington celebrate farmers and community members who embrace and enjoy local seasonal food. Events are at both Mezze Bistro & Bar in Williamstown and Allium in Great Barrington. Both venues will provide complimentary hors d'oeuvres, and a cash bar will be available. This is a unique event that highlights farm-to-table foods, and makes the entire night a social outing connecting the two groups of people it involves - the farmers [i.e. the Carhartts] and the Foodees [i.e. the Cocktails] - [I'd like to think I am a mix of the two!] From 4-6 p.m. you can enjoy with them as several courses and drinks bring you closer to the source of your food. For more information call 413-458-0123.
