The trails are excellent this winter. The groomer operators must not be getting much sleep this winter, as Vermont riders wake to groomed trails. How is that for dedication. This coming weekend is the Poultney Snowmobile Devils torchlight parade and winter carnival. Festival kicks off Friday, Feb. 13 with the torchlight parade at 6 p.m., followed by a spaghetti dinner. Saturday is time for snowmobile rides, guided tours, sledding, games and a snowmobile poker run to benefit the Class of 2009. Festival is free and open to all. These are the kind of events to attend if you're thinking of purchasing a sled, why not try one out first for free? For more information take a look at the club's site or call 802-287-9259.
