Scotch, armor and kilts this Thursday!
Worcester's little known [well to me anyway!], Higgins Armory Museum, contains over 5,000 objects of armor on 4 floors, and is the only institution in the Northeast dedicated to the collection, preservation, and exhibition of arms and armor. A visit to the Higgins will spark your imagination and this Thursday, March 26 might be the right time to go, as it is their Malt & Mayhem: A Taste of Scotch and More event. Dressed in full highland garb with bagpipes blaring, Scottish comedian Sir Jeremy Bell, returns to the Higgins for an evening of scotch tasting and champagne sobering. Audience participation is very much encouraged, as well as kilt wearing, though not optional. Event runs from 7-9 p.m. and cost is $65. Advance tickets required and seating is limited. For information call 508-853-6015 or visit online.
