Sunshine and daydreaming, walking in the tall trees

Posted by Kimberly Sherman April 9, 2009 09:16 AM

Sugar magnolia, blossoms blooming, heads all empty and I don't care,... Saw my baby down by the river, knew she'd have to come up soon for air. Sweet blossom come on, under the willow... Yes I cover this event every year, but truly, how better to usher in those spring blossoms and daydream in the yellow sunshine, than with the Dead in Vermont this Saturday. The Sunshine Daydream Festival is a tribute to the legendary Grateful Dead. Deadheads, as well as, those who simply enjoy soulful music, will find an all-day party plus the twist of spring skiing and riding at Killington. The festival features bands playing Grateful Dead covers 'til the sun goes down. Festivities will be held at the K-1 Base Area.
