All season long, Adam Lambert single-handedly brought American Idol to the forefront of even the most unthought of places [i.e. BIll O'Reilly], but more importantly he reminded us that the show was about making musical dreams come true for those who were born to shine and that there is much untapped talent out there.

Look no further for your chance to be the next Idol. Clear your schedule this Friday and Saturday, June 12 and 13, and head to Gillette Stadium to collect your wristband at pre-registration, which will qualify you for auditions. Then on June 14 return to Gillette as early as 5 a.m. to claim a place in line for the Season 9 tryout.

  1. Suggestions for men attending:

    1) No guyliner
    2) No black (or any other color) painted fingernails
    3) Hair must not look like bad toupee
    4) No ear ring holes the size of quarters
    5) Try not to sound like Richard Simmons when speaking.
