Cocktails and whales in Mystic

Beluga-Whale-Image-with-Tale.jpg Now through Aug. 20, the Mystic Aquarium and Institute for Exploration are reserving Thursday evenings for intimate affairs between you, and their beluga whales. Cocktails with the Whales are special evenings that include drink specials including their signature "Belugatini," hors d'oeuvres, and live music in the warm, seaside air of Mystic. You will literally be dining in front of their three 20 foot underwater viewing windows, home to three gorgeous beluga whales.

Cocktails with the Whales will be canceled in the case of inclement weather, and are reserved for guests age 21 and older. Cost is just $5 for the atmosphere, otherwise it's a cash bar. Dates are June 25, July 16, and August 20. Time: 6:30-8:30 p.m. Reservations are recommended. For more information call 860-572-5955, ext. 336, or check online for details.
